This year has been an amazing year for me as a video editor. I have been working on making a full documentary for the last 8 months and have been excited to do so. Taking 150+ hours of video footage (with sometimes 2 camera angles at the same time) and paring it down to 2.25 hrs has been an interesting endeavor. Just making sure the logistics of having enough hard drive space available and throughput in the computer to handle all the HD graphics has been an exercise in keeping very organized. The NLE system I was using when I started the project, which was not a slouch by any means, was getting to be pretty old. I decided to personally build an blazing fast workstation to get through this documentary unscathed and sure enough, I have no scars. Check out our video production page to see samples of my work.
