When a father contacted Allusion Studios about recording his 15-year-old daughter, the initial question was whether this would be a simple demo or a full production. After several thoughtful conversations and a talent assessment, Jim Pavett proposed a tiered approach, ultimately landing on a high-end production strategy executed in three-song segments to maintain focus and quality.

Alisha shared examples of musicians she admired, which Jim used to shape the creative direction. With piano as her primary instrument, her new studio performances were preserved while the rest of the arrangement was orchestrated with hired musicians. Every note, from melody to rhythm section, was meticulously crafted to reflect her artistic vision. Jim guided her through adapting her piano parts to fit the broader instrumentation, ensuring cohesion across guitar, bass, and drums. The guitar work, in particular, demanded precision and nuance due to its expressive range.
