For Native American Heritage Month, CBS Sports partnered with Cultural Survival to spotlight Indigenous athletes across generations. Rodger Sosakete Perkins (Akwesasne Mohawk) was invited to perform a traditional water drum piece and provide narration for the video tribute.
The session was recorded at Allusion Studios, where Rodger’s powerful performance and voiceover were captured with clarity and reverence. His contribution helped anchor the video’s emotional tone, celebrating Indigenous resilience and excellence in sport.
