Up With People at Allusion Studios

Smile ‘til it Hurts, Lee Storey’s documentary about the Up With People organization was partially shot at Allusion Studios. The documentary goes on an in-depth journey of the organization, from its founding in the fifties to the modern day workings of this international youth leading organization.

Jim Pavett contributed his facilities at Allusion Studios to record a few tracks for the documentary as well as using the studio as a backdrop for some of the interviews. Smile ‘til it Hurts is showing at the Harkins Theater here in Tucson from July 27th – 31st, and everybody wanting a deeper glimpse into the origins of the Up With People organization is encouraged to see it.
