In the fall of 2005, to help fund The Chinese Children's Foundation and the restoration of The Great Wall, national artists Alicia Keys, Cyndi Lauper, Doyle Bramhall II, Boys II Men, Sylvia Tosun, Nellie McKay, and Red Poppy performed the Great Wall of China Concert, live at The Great Wall outside of Beijing. Jim Pavett was hired to record all of the audio for the concert, which was later broadcast in the U.S. on various music TV broadcast stations.
